The Levelland area Chamber of Commerce
The Chamber of Commerce is the premiere association in Levelland for businesses and individuals not only because of its size but because of the talent pool represented by the membership.
Working with three hundred plus members, the Board of Directors, various committees and a full-time staff are devoted to the civic and commercial development of Hockley County.
Programs of the Chamber of Commerce are many and include: Ambassadors, Beautification, Member Services, Tourism & Promotions, Levelland Merchants, Sports, Agriculture, Youth Chamber of Commerce, Volunteer Recruitment and others.
The principles that founded our Chamber are the same ones that keep us going strong today. The Levelland Chamber of Commerce stands ready to pursue any issue that could make Levelland a better place to live.

Tourism and PromotionsEarly Settlers Day Committee is responsible for holding a successful festival for the chamber every uly. Tourism & Promotions Committee recommends a marketing and advertising plan to promote Levelland and an annual budget for hotel/motel tax. Recommend what the role of the Chamber should be in South Plains Opry, and Christmas Lighting.
Community/Economic Development
Agriculture Committee :Sponsors First Bale of Cotton and First Load of Grain cash awards program
Sponsors a booth at the Farm Show
offers seminars and education information and communicates membership benefits to agricultural community
Beautifications Committee:
Recognizes accomplishments of beautification in the city
Works with chamber on facility improvements
Recognizes Best Dressed house at Christmas
Levelland Merchants will be a task force appointed to restructure the Levelland Merchants to serve retail merchant members. Sports/Playoff Games Committee works to solicit playoff games/meets/tournaments for Levelland. Youth Chamber of Commerce encourages pride among youth of Levelland through service and social functions.
Executive Committes and Task Force
Executive Committee meets Monday before Board Meetings, prepares agenda, and acts on behalf of board of
directors between meetings.
Finance Committee presents an annual budget to Board of Directors in October, monitors and reports expenses during year, and recommends budget for site improvements.
Chamber Relations
Media Relations - Develop press releases and communicate chamber goals and successes. Publish & Develop Chamber related materials including Membership Directory, brochures, directories, monthly newsletter, and web site information and updates. Regional Promotional Development - Work with regional and area organizations to promote Levelland.
